religious holidays Happy holidays?
Cristiani and pagans
Unfortunately, human beings like parties. The pagans have set up by the thousands. To honor the sun, moon, stars and an infinite number of gods.
But even the religious have not made less. Buddhist, Islamic, Catholic, Orthodox, Protestants and all the followers of all other religions have their holidays, often fighting each other. For example, among the Christian churches themselves have argued over what to do, what not to do and on what date her or not to.
And so on until the very end of some of the new sects which have all banned, not just the "pagan" and civilians, but also religious ones! And, especially religious ones, because they decided that the very idea of \u200b\u200b"party" is pagan. Do not allow to celebrate your birthday!
How to find the right position, if any?
We evangelical Christians do not know where to look if the answer is not in the Bible. We have no other authority can enact rules to be part of God
The Old Testament is the book that chronicles the origins and faith of the Jews, along with their religious holidays. Controlled, mind you, by God! The discussions of the Old Testament is not ever question whether it is right or not observe the holidays. For them it was right to observe and required the parties established by God, just as it was wrong and offensive to God by observing the feasts of the pagans.
All festivals commanded by God to the Jews there to celebrate and remember the great interventions of God in human history in their favor. Honoring the qualities of God, the one God, Creator, Sustainer, Ruler of the universe and serve as a reminder to the Jewish people's love, mercy, the power was exercised in his favor.
course, all the festivals of the pagans there to honor other "forces", events or characters (existing or imaginary), who were honored in the place of the one God, and, in fact, disgraced.

So fully live our days back in surprise ...
the sun will rise high in the sky behind the mountain
nel baule della macchina
per l’abbraccio sincero di un friend who waited many years to make a picture in front of the Colosseum
These are just some of the wonderful simple things
fills you with joy and love in our lives.
We hope that you too can fill you of the many wonderful things simple
so you have to really make the most of every moment

Jesus, man or God?
is a bit 'the same thing when I think of some of the teachings of the Bible. If you fall on one side or the other by just the right position, you will find yourself in a dangerous cliff called "heresy."
Unfortunately, following the conversation of the last post, the deity of Jesus Christ, if you fall on the one hand, wanting to support and give importance only to his deity, you will fall into the ravine that denies his true humanity. Or, conversely, if you see clearly only his humanity, you will fall into the ravine of the other heresy, denying his deity.
E There is a lot of people fall. Most, unfortunately, believes only the humanity of Jesus, but some refuse or deny that Jesus was really a man, thinking that they "defend" his deity.
But, to be faithful to the revelation of the Bible, one must believe both the truth and always keep them in a healthy balance.
Many of the truths described in the Gospels do understand the true humanity of Jesus First, was born after a normal gestation in the womb of Mary and all those who saw him early in life have not seen anything but a normal child . The Evangelist Luke writes about him, when he was twelve years "Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man" (Luke 2:52).
During his adult life, he speaks in the Gospels, among other things, his hunger, thirst, fatigue, sleep, pain and tears. Anyone who watched him, saw only a man. For this reason, the story of Mary's pregnancy, the birth of Jesus in a stable, and her kindness and care of other adult stories that are all those who love him are happy to hear again and read many times.
And, in fact, if Jesus was only God would not have much in common with us mortals. He could not sympathize with us in our sorrows, disappointments, and human difficulties.
Questo is the true message of Christmas. Jesus is for you, our Savior and Lord? If not, you have nothing to cheer about at Christmas.

I have a 5 year old child named Matthew, who really like playing football It is also good. With my husband we decided to enroll at a football school, but the child after an initial enthusiasm, now wants to get out there and cries. How should we do? We must insist? (Roberta)
Madam, at such a young child like to do many things, but certainly likes what he sees around him play. Perhaps his friends, or brother, if he has, playing football, maybe the dad is a football fan. First, you should ask, if in the momentary choice of a sport, the child was influenced by those who live next door. The fact that she is at pains to say that "Is also good," could show that part of you parents maybe there are personal expectations towards this child ... In the Soccer School with whom I work, the parents of very young children, are proposed, prior to registration, a series of training "test" which gives the child the opportunity to really see if he would like to subscribe to the Soccer School and achieve a sporting commitment with some consistency. In the case of your child, then, do not insist on doing nothing that it does not make nell'apprestarsi to be peaceful. Perhaps Matthew is simply too early to take a sport, wait ...
