worth praying?

And if God really listen ...

In November 1789, George Washington, first President of the United States, proclaimed:

"Since it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God and obey his will, to be grateful for His benefits and humbly to implore his protection and favor [...]
Now I recommend and establish that next Thursday, November 26 is dedicated by the people of those countries in the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, is or will be.
And then we can also join humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beg pardon our transgressions and not national - to put us all in a position, both positions in public and private, to execute our duties on time and accurately and to make our national government a blessing to all the people, keeping a government made up of wise laws, and constitutional right, and obey performed with discretion and fidelity. "

may laugh thinking that a democratic state and independent from every religious denomination can devote to thank God for a national holiday. But the founding fathers of the United States takes into consideration a duty and a necessity. And that feast is still celebrated today after 221 years. This year, fell Thursday, November 25.

Today the American people practice many faiths, and the majority, perhaps, does not practice any. No longer believes that the U.S. is a nation Christian. And when they are spoken on television or in the Italian newspapers, Christianity in the United States is no longer a subject of jokes and criticism than appreciation.

However, there were certainly among the first settlers of sincere believers, and despite the general abandonment of religious faith throughout the world, as well as in America, there is no doubt that even in this country there are many true believers. Indeed, even the Europeans recognize that there still many people in the United States of faith, but prefer to speak of "dangerous fundamentalists," as if they were the plague.

When there is really freedom of religion, there can be one of the groups also "Dangerous fundamentalists" that are funny or scary to some, but they are not the majority of American believers.

Estimate and to love our brothers in every language and people is a duty. Let us rejoice if there are some, or many, who pray to God for their government and I thank him for the religious freedom that they enjoy. Let us unite in praying for the government, and the rulers, the Italians, who are obviously very much needed. But, do not forget to thank God for the religious freedom that we enjoy and use it to its glory.

Hard Skin On Feet From Running

PM 10 in Trieste

We publish this press release from WWF and WWF FVG Trieste

Sure enough, not only in the autumn leaves fall dry but again the problem of particulate matter PM10 in the air. In Trieste, the slippages of the legal limit (50 μ g / m - micrograms per cubic meter - as a daily average) occur not only in the center, because of 'intense traffic (in this period the heating of homes is at a minimum) but also in the area of Servola, close to the Ironworks. Data collected by ARPA stations on 12, 13, 14, November 15 show much higher values of PM10 Servola to that in the city center: 49, 67, 70, 52 μ g / m³ for 61 Liberty Square, 101, 102, 58 μ g / mc Carpineto away. These data show the heavy industrial contribution to the deterioration of air quality , which certainly affects Servola and to a lesser extent other city neighborhoods.

ARPA The mobile unit, located in S. Lorenzo Selva (Servola) and notes that air pollution values always much higher than other units, but does not provide no data on PM10 by 23 October (!). explains the prolonged failure of ARPA, in a delicate period in terms of air quality?

The units owned by Elettra (via Svevo, via Pitacco) provide data instead of PM10 much lower. Maybe because they are managed by the ownership of the factory and virtually pollution data are never validated by ARPA ?

What does the city of Trieste for the pollution produced by traffic and industry? Following a plan of action, totally inadequate , expected to be exceeded three fateful days of exceedances, hoping that the weather improved in the fourth. Hopefully it will make restrictions on vehicular traffic, however, never to production, even though the latter are specifically laid down in existing legislation on air quality.

Given that weather forecasts are now very reliable for a period of three days, it is necessary to take preventive measures without regard for anyone, such as the WWF calls for years. For industrial pollution should therefore, first, decrease the production of coke Ferriera (since the coke works at peak, well above the needs of the only blast furnace in operation), increasing the cooking time of the coal. At the same time the pollution of agglomeration should be suspended for a few days, because it is one of the most polluting sources (also emits dioxin, as well as PM10) of the steelworks Lucchini.

Only utopias? And 'The health of tens of thousands of citizens.

Blueprints On How To Build A Rabbit Cage

always obey?

A threat or a blessing

Dear William, it is true that the elderly account for a local church are put in place by God and must be obeyed, any decision can be taken?
The answer to this question, which can hide serious problems and disagreements in the church, even abuses, is "Yes" and "No".

We read in the writings of the Apostle Paul (and see in his example) that the church must recognize how the elderly, so obvious and clear, brothers who have the qualities listed in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 and then take that are the people that God has prepared and recommended for this difficult and delicate task. In this situation

Ideally, the church must continually support the elderly with prayer, "keeping them in high esteem and loving" (1 Thess. 5:13), while recognizing that they are not infallible. It can happen, unfortunately, that's their decision is not fully understood or approved because it does not seem biblical. In this case it is important to pray that God makes them see and understand, with his methods and his time, their possible error and humbly that they are ready to remedy the situation. Those who pray must also be ready to change their assessment.

Maybe "obey" the elderly seems too strong an expression, and some would choose the word "accept" or "no objection" alle loro decisioni, ma l’autore della Lettera agli Ebrei, nel versetto 13:17, adopera proprio la parola “ubbidire”, cioè fidarsi.

There are two mistakes to avoid. No believer should believe called to oppose, as an individual, for the elderly. With prayer and meekness, many problems can be solved. It is very important that the harmony of the church is not destroyed by the personal opinion of one or two, that few believers.

The second thing to avoid is criticism or criticism involving a group which engages in a guerrilla war against the direction of the church, such as young people against old people, women against men or families against families. Obviously, it is essential to address the problem and seek a solution biblically, humbly and lovingly.

There is, in extreme cases, the possibility to say "No" if you are convinced, after Bible study and prayer, that demands obedience to the elderly being disobedient to God but we must realize that a situation so dramatic, if not resolved soon, may be necessary for consistency , leave the church.

The biblical solution to any problem in the church, in the words of Paul:

"Following the truth in love, may grow (each individual and the whole church) in every way into him who is the head, even Christ (Ephesians 4:15). Is this what you're looking for?

Per i bambini che hanno paura di fare la doccia

"I want to know how to behave when my son was 9, playing football, when he tells me who does not want to take a shower at the end of training "(Francesca)

In the context of the game, like sports, you should never insist a child to do something that does not want. But the dressing room is a moment of importance, where they learn to be together, to take care of their things, make friends, you fight and make peace ... So we must make it clear to the child who is best to try not to be ashamed to appear naked, so it's worth it. In the dressing room is good!

Maybe you can invite the child to take a shower, wearing a bit 'panties. The habit of being with friends and realize that they're not all watching him, watching the other kids that move naturally naked, teach him to overcome this small limitation.

Day of the Dead?

.
O memory of the living

Like every year, the cemeteries are filled up to capacity. Of living. Vivi who visit the dead! Flowers. Memories. Tears. And some call for help. Why not?

If someone who loves you has already passed the other side, perhaps you could give some help, or an important tip. Or at least so many people believe.

course, to remember their dead loved ones is always right, to thank God for what has been important in our lives.

But, according to the Word of God, serves neither beg nor to pray for them. Everyone knows that when Jesus' disciples asked him how they should pray, he replied: "Pray: Our Father which art in heaven ..." pray to the Father, God, is right, because all good comes from Him and because He deserves our praise and our gratitude.

But never, in the Holy Bible, Jesus or any other taught to pray to Mary or other Christians who are alive or dead. Only God almighty and omnipresent can hear our prayers and He alone has the power to hear us. So ask prayers for others is useless and is also a disobedience of humans raising the level of God, perhaps without realizing the serious mistake, believing that they are able to listen and help.

“Siate always cheerful, never cease to pray, in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you " (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
