Jesus Christ is truly God?

believe or doubt

time ago, I met in the airport JF Kennedy New York, an educated man, well dressed, who told me to be Jesus Christ returned to earth and just arrived from California to be recognized in the largest city in America.

For them, Christmas is a folk festival which has ravaged the western world for a few weeks with a wind of courtesy and kindness, more or less fake. And then, as many built in the crib room, even Christmas and the good feelings you put it back in boxes, to sleep for another year.

Some even "Christian" only believe that Jesus was a good man who tried to convince others to do likewise, but he did not believe to be God and never claimed to be.

must be said that these people or do not know very well or they believe that the Bible is a book of ancient tales and legends that should not be taken too seriously.

Apostle John, however, says even in the first verse of the Gospel who wrote that Jesus, before the universe existed in eternity as God and then writes that, moreover, was the Creator of everything that exists today. Be described as the eternal God, creator of everything that exists, can not be called a denial of the deity of Jesus contrary is clear and categorical affirmation of the true identity of the One who, in verse 14 of that chapter, is described as One who "was made flesh", a phrase that describes a person who existed before without a physical human body, but at some point, you become a man of flesh and bone.

This person, whose name is mentioned in verse 17, that "Jesus Christ", and has had the power to become children of God's people (v. 12), and resulted in the full meaning and the earth practical reality of grace and truth, only partially known until the time of his coming (v. 17). Only he, coming to earth, was able to help people to really know "the Father" (v. 18).

Yes, Jesus Christ, just because it was the God / man, God incarnate, became, for the man, the Savior, the Giver of eternal life (see the Gospel John 5:17-24).

Other than legends and myths to make us feel "good" for a few days! Jesus Christ is truly God, descended to earth to save us from the condemnation we deserve because of the sins we have committed and give us eternal life.

But, Jesus, God incarnate, was also truly man? We'll see soon because the answer to this question is so important.
