Film poco noto di Bergman.Lasciando perdere le recensioni negative che ho letto dappertutto,il film non è il capolavoro del regista ma molto meglio di altri.Un matrimonio che viene distrutto con l'arrivo di un archeologo.Ed ecco che nonostante Bergman sperimenta altri tema.Il horizons remains in his marriage is in fact seen as a sentimental prison, where the faith of the protagonist is always well put in vista.Un 'love that becomes impossible when the spouse comes into play and the sound of the bell figlia.Emblematico you hear in almost every sequence, even where not appropriate. This reminds me of Dreyer: through which the bells was the sacred and the tempo.Il connection with a religion then is seen again with a negative perspective.
