The film is very dramatic and controversial not easy to digest. 'The story follows two parallel lives in a single day, two guys who think nothing less than to sex and drugs, and a girl who lives on the day shot dead by notizia.Una sad film that makes them uncomfortable, annoying and perversa.Clark follows the boys as if it were a documentary makes it all so 'realistic . When you see a New York where a cruel king is the stupidity and ignorance. malformation of the society 'where there are hardly any parents and children grow up without education, not realizing what fanno.Vanno on as if nothing had happened, as if life had no importance and so 'on, alcohol and drug sesso.Una reality' as seen from the point of view of a desolate New York in 1995 but not far from the situation attuale.Il film is very heavy themes and makes them really see with disgust: homophobia, racism e lo spaccio di droga che si puo' vedere nel parco dove vanno i ragazzi.Guardando questo film passa la voglia di fare tutto e di pensare veramente a cosa farne della nostra vita riflettendo molto.Inoltre un tema molto importante del film è quello dell'hiv che segue i ragazzi come se fosse la loro ombra,ma i ragazzi non si accorgono di niente e vivono la vita senza pensieri.Un film molto crudele e pesante con una fanstastica fotografia e per non parlare della sceneggiatura del giovane Harmony Korine eccelente in questa pellicola.La produzione è affidata allo splendido Gus Van Sunt,anch'esso frustrato dal tema giovanile come lo si puo' notare nei suoi film.L'attrice Chloe Sevigny qui al debutto fa una parte da non tralasciare di sicuro.Ottima la colonna sonora tra cui il magnifico brano Good Morning degli Slint.Frustrante il finale,davvero scorcentante come tutto il film.Scene di barboni,di drogati e di disperati per strada mettono in risalto la malattia dell'umanita',e di un futuro forse non troppo lontano per questi ragazzi.
